she has been caught. she is home. she has called me. she is fine. but i am so tired of Meghan's crap. i still love her, cause she was my first best friend and i would be completley lost without her, but i am sick and tired of having to deal with her crap.
does that make me a bad friend?

Nope...you can still be her friend, but you don't have to put up with crap, or compromise your beliefs for her. Friendships are supposed to grow and evolve. Sometimes the other person either isn't ready or is unwilling to grow with you.
well, we have been through all KINDS of stuff since 5th grade. she was my first best friend, and is a sister to me. i just DON'T want to give up that friendship.
I am not telling you to give up a friendship! But you guys have grown up a lot since then. It is OK to let go some. You don't have to solve all her problems or take them on to be your problems. Sometimes the best thing that you can do as a friend is to let the other person make a mistake and then be there to help them pick up the pieces when it all comes crashing down.
I promise...when have I ever lead you wrong?
